I signed up, though it didn't give me the right diet (being pre-insulin resistant, my pyramid is different than the average josephine's).

But I gave you as my reference. :)

They do let you add other nutriants to track, which helps customize it a little. I have a carb/sugar issue that's considered pre-diabetic, so I added sucrose to my list with a 1-5 gram limit.

I've got something similar going on, though it expressed itself as PCOS - but that's really driven by my inability to manage insulin and blood sugar, which will become insulin resistance and later on Type 2 Diabetes.

So carb-centric diets are off limits. Maybe I should have told them I was diabetic?

yeah, even with that edit, their mealplans are useless to me... I have to REALLY watch my carbs, and sugar is a no-no, even things like fresh fruit... so what did they suggest for breakfast today? half a bagel and an apple.
I think the tool for charting what you eat an keeping track of the grams of stuff is useful though, now that I edited the carbs and added the sugar tracking.

I have to find that reducing diet plan. I really do - it might help because it uses points and it's "sugar sensitive," which means it tries to limit the intake of sugary fruits and veggies and allows you to substitute out stuff you know will be problematic. It's great as a guideline and makes it wasy for you to wing it.

The best I can describe it is a diabetic's diet done by the Richard Simmons "pay-per-meal" system.
